Horse Shoe Canyon Ranch

so this week we were fortunate enough to go to our bishop's ranch. it's more of a canyon than it is a ranch. and what i mean by that is its massive and is in the middle of two sheering cliffs full of rock climbing rappelling and ziplining. its the coolest place i've ever been. and if you didnt know i like rock climbing and one of our many mission rules is that we can't rock climb so that sucked just sitting there looking at the beautiful features in the rock that god created knowing i cant climb it. This ranch that our bishop owns is also apparently famous for having one of the hardest climbing competitions. Alex Honnald himself had come to it recently and said its one of the hardest places he's ever climbed. haha so i have that to look forward to. They also had horses, goats, pigs and chickens roaming freely with different dogs assigned to each herd just controlling them. It was cool to watch. There was even an indoor climbing gym and basketball court. they had a rat maze in there that took me about 25 min of crawling and twisting my body in ways it's not supposed to twist to get my 6'3'' body out of there. haha. Then after we proceeded to teach one of the workers there a lesson about family history and got to show her around the website. it was fun.

ughh gosh i don't have a lot of time this week but im alive im doing well. I wish I had more time to tell the rest of the crazy fun things we did this week but unfortunately it's gonna have to wait. ha hope you are all having a joyous week. and don't forget to light the world.
love you all

A Turtle Pooped - 11/22/20

11/22/20

Alright alright alright so I thought u should all know that I'm here I made it. Finally. After 9 long weeks I'm out in the field in Harrison Arkansas. Haha yessir. So before I left I gave my farewell talk (thanks to everyone who came or tuned in), I also went through the temple for the first time holy crap that was amaaaazing. Literally felt like I had armour on after and I felt such peace and surety towards this gospel. It was unreal. I actually got to go through 4 times before I left SO to Calv Griff and Nussie for letting me tag along. Umm yea then I gave final goodbyes and made way for Arkansas. It was a bumpy flight but i made some good friends on the flight so it was fun. Then we got here we went on splits with some missionaries and got a good night's rest later that night at the mission home where all 26 of us coming in got a little rowdy for 3 hours. I wrestled, got sung to and tucked in by a  huge poly from Hawaii hahah. Then in the morning we headed to our areas where I found out I was going to b working with elder Thacker. Haha he's awesome. At first I had a hard time getting used to actually being here but me and him started becoming friends and now were having the time of our lives. Love him.

Ok so we met a ton of members here the last few days and holy the people here r nice. They're such sincere kind hearted people who just wanna help others any way they can. Its awesome. I Already have some fun stories but I'd say the funniest was we drove 45 min away to meet up with brother Lucky. He's a character. He lives completely off the grid in the middle of nowhere with no electricity in a shack smaller than my room with just him and his dog legend. He's got nothing and couldn't b happier. He told us one time he shot a man straight up. Ha. He told us while he sat in jail for it he promised God that if he'd get him out of there that he'd never touch another fire arm again. And he hasn't. He's got the craziest faith too. He'll b in a terrible situation and have no way out of it and will calmly tell u it's ok. Gods got it. It was  crazy cool talking to him and seeing how he strengthened my testimony in 30 min. Super humbling seeing what he's done with what he has.
I saw a turtle and it popped on the carpet. That was cool.
Umm yea idk I love it out here don't forget to give thanks and look for the small blessings this week! Love you all!!! Feel free to email me at any time! And I'll see u in the next one!

Strictly Business As Per Usual

H
ello again. We've got some things to go over before we get spiritual so buckle up. Ok so for those of you who do not know i received a reassignment. Yea yea yea some of u might've hear me rant at some point or another about how lucky i am cuz i have dual citizenship so i get to go and u don't hahaha. But I sit at this computer today before you and confess that I, yes I, have lied. Well sorta haha I got my reassignment to Bentonville Arkansas. And if any of u would like to comment on this and explain how Walmart was founded there and ill act like I'm hearing this for the first time, I'd be obliged. and
I'm not kidding i actually would cuz i love hearing from u
guys. It gets lonely in front of this computer screen hahha. Well next on the agenda is I also get the opportunity to go through the temple this week. I can't wait. Its gonna be such a spiritual experience and I get to experience it with all of my family. Its gonna be awesome i already know it. Umm lets see what else oh yes. My farewell talk. I have been given the opportunity to give a talk in front of my ward with restrictions. For instance no one can come. Ha. stupid corona. but u can however watch the live that i'll put the link to at the bottom if u want to watch it at 10:30 on Sunday and then you are all welcome to come to my house after for food id love to see any of u there.

Alrighty now lets get spiritual. And if your name is Tiffany Lee I encourage u to read this part and not skip over it. Hah. well these past 6 and a half weeks have been tough. Well Bulgarian has been tough. Its a hard language and i found myself on my knees A LOT. I kept asking for the gift of tongues and though some days I would see little instances of success it never lasted. Until recently. God wanted me to have a hard time with this. He was testing my faith. And it worked. I kept pushing forward and praying for help and i saw his hand. I saw myself finally start picking up on more words. Though I'm still not the best and have plenty more work to do. I saw that little tender mercy and because of it its strengthened me and gave me that last bit of hope i needed to finish out my MTC experience strong. I know we have a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to succeed. But sometimes to get there he must first knock us down and test our faith so that he can make us even stronger. Jacob:5 . Well I leave in 2 weeks now I'm almost done with my MTC and get to head out to the big leagues. The field. Cant wait to tell you all more and more about my journeys but for now,

Довиждане и обичам ви всички!

Alma 5:40

hope u all have a great week and email me if u have any questions or concerns about my farewell talk.
